I've been Joe Cain for most of my life. Some friends and I started spitting out the name Moe while I was involved with improv in Chicago. It was fun, and Moe made us laugh. Moe is now an official nickname for Joseph. Kind of like how Bill is short for William. Just change a letter and viola! Still confused? Go ask Edward Kennedy why they call him Ted. |
